The Job Execution Dashboard provides real-time visibility into machine status and production order progress across your entire shop floor. It's designed to be displayed on large screens for supervisors and planners who need to quickly identify which machines have work, which are waiting, and where operator attention is needed.
Accessing the Dashboard
Navigate to Dashboards → Job Execution from the main menu. The dashboard displays all machines as color-coded tiles showing their current operational state.
Understanding Machine States
Each machine tile uses color to indicate its current status:
Color | State | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
Green | Running | Machine is actively producing parts |
Blue | Idle | Machine is connected but not running |
Red | Fault | Machine has encountered an error condition |
Teal | Waiting for Work | Production order completed; no new work assigned |
Purple | Waiting for Operator | Job exists but no operator is clocked in |
Yellow | Setup | Machine is being prepared for the next job |
Gray | Not Reporting | No data connection from the machine |
Unknown Job appears when machine activity is detected after a job closes, but no new production order has been started. The machine will show as Running or Idle with "Unknown Job" displayed.
Reading the Machine Tiles
Each tile displays key information at a glance:
Machine name and current state duration at the top
Part count progress (e.g., "242 / 600") showing completed vs. target quantity
Cycle time or time in current state
Current and next production order numbers
Operator name (when configured and logged in)

Common Use Cases
Capacity Management — Quickly identify machines showing "Waiting for Work" to understand where capacity is available but not being utilized.
Labor Tracking — Spot machines in "Waiting for Operator" status to ensure jobs aren't stalled between shifts or breaks.
Production Monitoring — Monitor part count progress against targets to identify jobs that may be ahead or behind schedule.
Accountability — With operator names displayed, supervisors can see who is running which machine without walking the floor.
