Connecting your AMADA machine with FOCAS

If your AMADA machine has FANUC FOCAS, the IP address, Subnet, Gateway, and TCP port can be configured using the FANUC "CNC Screen Display" program. 

Once you've opened the CNC Screen Display program, navigate to the FOCAS networking settings by pressing "SYSTEM" and scrolling to the right using the soft-key until you get to this screen:

Enter the static IP address, subnet, and gateway on this screen. Then press the "FOCAS2" soft-key and enter "8193" in the TCP Port box. You make have to restart the controller for these settings to stay.

The FOCAS Embedded port will most likely be located on the FANUC NCU, in the machine's electrical cabinet:

Connect your machine network drop to this port:

Note that it is possible that the embedded port may be located behind the HMI, in the control cabinet.
