Accessing the Machines Page
To access the Machines Page, click the Machines menu item in the sidebar nav.
Machine Page Information Layout and Functions
The Machine application page is divided into two main sections:
Machine Switcher
Machine Switcher Controls
The Machine Switcher is a live list of your machines that provides several useful functions, including:
-
Creating and saving a custom view: You can create a custom view that displays only the machines and information that are most relevant to you. Once you've created your custom view, you can save it for easy access in the future.
-
Searching for machines by name: If you need to quickly locate a specific machine, you can use the search function to find it by name.
-
Filtering the Machine Switcher: You can filter the Machine Switcher by machine, machine group, or status to help you focus on specific subsets of your machines. This can be particularly useful if you have a large number of machines and want to quickly find the ones that are most relevant to your current task.
-
Sorting the Machine Switcher: You can sort the Machine Switcher by several different criteria to help you quickly identify the machines that are most important to you. The available sort options include:
- Default machine order
- Top performing machines
- Lowest performing machines
- Machine name (A-Z)
- Machine name (Z-A)
- Earliest active time
- Latest active time
- Top trending machines
- Lowest trending machines
- Operation (A-Z)
- Operation (Z-A)
By using the Machine Switcher's various functions, you can easily find, sort, and filter your machines to get the information you need to make informed decisions about your manufacturing operations.
Machine Switcher Content
In addition to the machine name, the Machine Switcher displays a number of important metrics and information about each machine, including:
-
Current Execution Status
-
Current Running Operation
-
Current Utilization % Compared to Baseline Utilization
-
First Active Time for the Day
Individual Machine Content
The Machine Overview also provides quick access to a number of additional machine pages such as the Timeline, Diagnostics page, and Machine Settings.
Machine Overview Controls
The Machine Overview includes a number of controls that allow operators to filter and customize the data displayed. These controls include:
-
Date Picker
-
Shifts Filter
-
Operations Filter
-
Operators Filter
Machine Overview Metric Tabs
This section displays key performance metrics for the selected machine, including:
- Utilization %
- Parts
- Did you know that you can also add part corrections and reject parts directly in this tab? By doing so, you can ensure that your production data is accurate and reflective of the actual number of parts produced.
- Downtime Pareto
- One helpful feature of this tab is the ability to bulk categorize downtime. By selecting multiple downtime events and categorizing them all at once, you can save time and ensure that your downtime data is accurate and consistent.
- OEE Graph
- Alarms Pareto
Additionally, each of the metric tabs (Utilization, Parts, Downtime, OEE, and Alarms) can be viewed as a table or chart. The table view provides a detailed breakdown of each metric over a selected time period, while the chart view provides a visual representation of the data. By toggling between these views, users can easily analyze and compare their machine's data.

Part Corrections and Rejects
To manage part corrections and rejected parts for a specific machine, follow these steps:
-
Navigate to the Parts Metric tab on the Machine Overview.
-
Click on the "Manage Parts" link located near the top right-hand corner of the chart.
-
A bottom sheet will appear, which allows you to adjust the date range for the data you want to view.
-
From here, you can add, edit, or delete part corrections as needed to ensure that your production data is accurate and reflective of the actual number of parts produced.
-
You can also view and manage any rejected parts for this machine, allowing you to keep track of any quality issues that may arise during production.
Categorizing Downtime
To manage downtime for a specific machine, follow these steps:
-
Navigate to the Downtime Metric tab in the Machine Overview.
-
Click on the "Categorize Downtime" link located near the top right-hand corner of the chart.
-
A bottom sheet will appear, which allows you to adjust the date range for the data you want to view.
-
From here, you can edit categorized downtime events as needed to ensure that your downtime data is accurate and reflective of the actual downtime that occurred.
-
You can also select multiple downtime events and bulk categorize them, saving you time and ensuring that your downtime data is consistent.
