Mazak machines are often capable of sharing data through MTConnect, which is the preferred method of Machine Connectivity for Mazak machines. If your Mazak has a control model made in 2010 or newer, there is a good chance it is compatible with MTConnect.
How to find MTConnect on your Mazak:
It is possible that your Mazak has MTConnect already installed. To find out if your Mazak has MTConnect installed, navigate to the Windows backend (Mazak controls use Windows as the onboard operating system), click the "Start" button, and search for MTConnect. You should find a folder labeled MTConnect, with associated files inside.
MTConnect data is transmitted through the onboard ethernet port. This port is generally patched from the HMI to a keystone in the main electrical cabinet of the machine. The network settings for this port are configured through the Windows ethernet settings (PC IP address).
WARNING: Do not change the NC IP address!
Mazak Control Models
The following PDF lists Mazak control models capable of MTConnect:

Installing MTConnect
If your Mazak control model is listed in the PDF above, but does not have MTConnect installed, Mazak can send you a thumb drive with MTConnect and all necessary files and installation instructions. Each thumb drive will have a license file individual to the machine, so you should receive separate thumb drives for each machine you wish to collect data from. Contact Mazak for more details and specific technical support for your Mazak machine.
MTConnect Troubleshooting
If your Mazak does have MTConnect installed, but you cannot connect to it, you may need to restart the executable file. Follow these instructions to troubleshoot MTConnect on your Mazak:
