Overview
Holidays allow you to define company-wide non-production days where downtime can be automatically categorized as planned downtime so metrics like OEE and availability reflect only expected production time.
Prerequisite
- Enable Exclude Planned Downtime from Scheduled Time in Settings > Downtimes
Without this setting enabled:
- Downtime will still be categorized with the selected reason.
- Scheduled Time and related production metrics will not be adjusted.
How It Works
Holidays are configured at the company level.
- Apply to all machines
- Apply across all machine schedules
- Span a full day using your company’s “Start of Day” setting
- Automatically categorize downtime using the selected downtime reason
ℹ️ NOTE: Existing automatic downtime categorization rules covering the same time periods are no longer required.
Configuration / Setup
- Navigate to Settings > Company
- Scroll to the Holidays section
- Click Add
- Configure the following:
- Holiday — Select from the list (defaults are based on your company's region, use the search bar to search across all holidays). The date will be automatically populated from the selected holiday
- Downtime Category — Select the downtime category used to classify any idle time that occurs during this period
- Click Save
To add a custom holiday:
- Select the Holiday Search bar, then click + Custom holiday
- Enter:
- Name — Enter a unique name for your custom holiday
- Date — Select the day that you would like the holiday to occur on (custom holidays are reoccurring on a yearly basis)
- Categorize downtime as — Select the downtime category used to classify any idle time that occurs during this period
- Click Save
To edit or remove a holiday:
- Click the three-dot menu next to a holiday
- Select Edit or Delete
