Introduction
The Profile page is where MachineMetrics users set up how they want to receive notifications as well as their user account authentication settings. Each MachineMetrics user has complete control over their Profile settings, and it is every user's responsibility to set up their own notification preferences and authentication settings. MachineMetrics cannot directly edit a user's profile settings and preferences, nor can other MachineMetrics account users.
How to get there
To access your User Profile Settings click the Settings icon in the sidebar navigation and select Profile from the list.

Note: We do not force require the formatting, but in order to receive SMS text notifications to international numbers, the exact format below must be used.
Notify Me: The Notify Me field is used to select the communications method(s) MachineMetrics will use to send your notifications and the days and times during which you want to receive notifications.
- By Both SMS & Email: Receive both SMS text and email notifications

Offline Edge Notifications: Enabling this box allows you to be notified the moment there is any communication issue between a MachineMetrics edge device in your environment and the MachineMetrics system. It is important to note the following:
- The MachineMetrics system is notified of any edge device connectivity issues immediately regardless of whether or not you choose to receive this notification.
- The most common events that impact edge device connectivity are issues impacting your local network such as power outages or a component being unplugged, often while a machine is being moved.
- The Edge Device Status notification ignores the shift settings that you selected in the Notify Me field. If you select this check box, you will be notified 24/7 of edge device connectivity issues.
Anonymized Shop Data: This function is used to manage how MachineMetrics displays information on the machine shop floor. If you select to Anonymize, MachineMetrics information such as job names and part values will display in a randomized format, without identifying information. This function can be useful or necessary when the shop needs to conceal proprietary information from visitors.
For example, a company may have a potential customer visiting on a tour of your shop floor and may want to hide an existing customer's job name.
Note: Select the Save Changes button at the top of this page section to apply the change in the system.
