Product Notice - No longer supporting TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1

Web Browsers, Tablets, and Edge devices send and receive data to/from our Cloud utilizing TLS protocols to provide a secure communication channel.

On December 1st, 2023, MachineMetrics will be discontinuing support for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1. Older devices and browsers will need to be updated to versions that support TLS 1.2 to continue to be able to access our system.

After this update, the legacy job importer will no longer function. Please see the following article for a new version of the importer.

To ensure you do not experience an interruption in service, make sure you have your systems up to date. The following clients are known to be unable to use TLS 1.2:

• Android 4.3 and earlier versions
• Firefox version 5.0 and earlier versions
• Internet Explorer 8-10 on Windows 7 and earlier versions
• Internet Explorer 10 on Windows Phone 8
• Safari 6.0.4/OS X10.8.4 and earlier versions

MachineMetrics Edge devices and tablets managed through our system are updated and will support TLS 1.2. Windows Gateways and customer-managed tablet devices will need to be verified to confirm they are running sufficiently recent versions of their operating systems and browsers to maintain connectivity.
