Introduction
The Operator Dashboard settings allow users to configure how the Operator Dashboard functions on the shop floor and what is displayed.
How to get there:
Login into MachineMetrics > click the Settings Gear > select Operator Dashboard

General
The general settings allow a user to configure how the Operator Dashboard functions on the shop floor.
Machine Switching: If enabled, Operators will be able to switch the machine displayed on the Operator Dashboard
Force Downtime Categorization: In enabled, Operators will not be able to close the categorization window after the machine has been inactive for more than the specified in Categorization Prompt. To dismiss, the Operator must provide a reason for downtime
Remove Rejects from Part Count: If enabled, any rejects will automatically be deducted from good parts. If disabled, Operators will be presented with the option to deduct the rejects from the good parts. This allows the Operator to distinguish between scrap and non-conforming parts that may be able to be reworked.
Downtime
Use the settings in this section to configure how Downtime events are exposed and managed by Operators and others using on a Machine's Operator Dashboard view.
Initial Prompt
Status: If enabled, a modal prompt will display when a new Downtime Event is detected. This prompt serves as a reminder and can be dismissed by the Operator(s).
Delay: The amount of time (minutes/seconds) that passes from when the Downtime Event is detected and when the initial prompt is displayed on the Operator Dashboard.
Categorization Prompt
Status: If enabled, the Categorization Screen will automatically be displayed when a Downtime Event exceeds the Categorization Prompt Delay Time.
Delay: The amount of time (minutes/seconds) that passes from when the Downtime Event is detected and when the Categorization Screen is displayed on the Operator Dashboard.
Manage Tabs
Enabling and disabling the Status will allow the user to see what tabs are available on your Company’s Operator Dashboard interface and the order in which they appear. These tabs shape how your Operators view the data and can be customized to match your shop goals.
Fields
Status: If enabled, this tab will be displayed on your Operator Dashboard. You can disable tabs to hide them and re-enable them at any time.
Name: The label for the tab on the Operator Dashboard.
URL: This will allow you to lead the operator to a external link of your choice for a specific tab.
Function
Reorder: Reordering will allow you to edit the order in which the tabs appear. You will want to:
Reorder > move the Tabs > click the Green Check circle to save.
Add Tab: Adding a custom tab will allow a custom tab appear. You will have the option to give it a custom name and a URL that will lead the operator to a external link of your choice.
Note: The enabled tab at the top of this list will appear first on your Operator Dashboard.
