The Health applications provide the ability to view and manage machine alarms, view incidents, create monitors for machine events, create and schedule triggers for preventative maintenance, and provide instructions for maintenance and repair tasks. This article provides an overview of each Health application. See the corresponding application article for detailed information on a Health application.
The Alarms application is used to view all alarms generated by the machines in the environment, as well as create monitors that allow you to track and respond to those alarms. The Alarms page opens when you hover over Health in the main navigation and select Alarms, and contains an application menu that allows you to access the other Health applications.
The following figure shows an example of the Alarms page. See the Alarms article for more information.
Accessing the Other Health Applications
From the Alarms page, click on the application menu link to access the other Health applications:
- Incidents: View all incidents that have occurred
- Monitors: View and create monitors that can generate notifications or incidents based on the event triggers you specify.
- Preventative Maintenance: Define preventative maintenance tasks and create triggers that will create notifications about the preventative maintenance task to be done.
- Instructions: Add documents that have instructions for preventative maintenance tasks.
Incidents lists all the incidents that have been generated by machines based on the Monitors that were created to trigger incidents because of machine events. The following figure shows the Incident Details page for an individual incident. See the Incidents article for more information.
The Monitors application is used to create monitors that track specified machine events such as alarms, production anomalies, and downtime, and generate incidents or send notifications based on specific event triggers. The following images show an example of the Monitors page and the Add New Monitor page. See the Monitors article for more information.
The Preventative Maintenance application is used to set up triggers that will generate Incidents to indicate that a preventative maintenance task needs to be done based on the number of days the machine has been in cycle. The following figure shows an example of the form used to create a preventative maintenance task. See the Preventative Maintenance article for more information.
The Instructions application is used to provide instructions to complete preventative maintenance tasks, with the capability to attach supporting instructional documentation if required. The following figure shows an example of the form used to add instructions. See the Instructions article for more information.
