To navigate to the 'Weekly Summary' page, click the account settings menu icon in MachineMetrics and select Weekly Summary from the application pull-down menu as shown below.

The Weekly Summary page provides check boxes that allow you to select the email reports you want to receive. Note the following about the functionality of this page:
- You must click the Update button to apply any changes to your reporting preferences in the MachineMetrics system.
- Each MachineMetrics user must select their own reporting preferences
- The settings in your Weekly Summary page only affect your profile.
Weekly Summary Report Distribution Back to Topics
The reports you can select in the Weekly Summary page are distributed as follows:
- Utilization Summary and Downtime Summary: Each of these reports are generated and sent in a weekly email that is distributed one hour after your company's start of the week as designated in MachineMetrics. For example, if your company's start of week is Monday at 8:00 AM, the report email will be sent each Monday at 9:00 AM.
- Benchmarking: This report is a monthly report that is generated and sent the first week of the month on the same day and time as that week's Utilization Summary and Downtime Summary reports.
At the bottom of each report email are links that allow you to update your current report distribution preferences and to unsubscribe from receiving the report emails.

The Utilization Summary report provides summary data on overall utilization for all shifts and all machines in the company environment.

The Utilization Summary report provides the following data:
- Metric: Overall utilization for all machines in the shop.
- 2 Weeks Ago: Overall utilization for the week immediately preceding the week of the report. This field includes the percentage that machines were running operations out of the total possible number of machine operation hours (100% Utilization), and the total number of hours in the week that the machines were actually running operations.
- Last Week: Overall utilization for the week of the report. This field includes the percentage that machines were running operations out of the total possible number of machine operation hours (100% Utilization), and the total number of hours in the week that the machines were actually running operations.
- Weekly Change: Percentage difference in utilization between the past week and two weeks ago, and the total hours difference in machine operation time.
- The best week...: This line presents the percentage and the week that the company machines had their best percentage utilization since MachineMetrics began monitoring the machine shop.

- Metric: Machine downtime that has been categorized by machine operators in MachineMetrics.
- 2 Weeks Ago: Percentage of total downtime and number of hours out of total downtime hours that were categorized by operators for the week preceding the week of the report.
- Last Week: Percentage of total downtime and number of hours out of total downtime hours that were categorized by operators for the week of the report.
- Weekly Change: Difference in the percentage of downtime categorization by operators between last week and two weeks ago.

The downtime category bar chart is a vertical bar chart that illustrates the downtime for the past week in total minutes by downtime category. The following is an example of the downtime category bar chart information layout:

The Downtime Category bar chart has a vertical bar representing each downtime category that has been configured for your MachineMetrics environment. The length of the bar represents the number of minutes of downtime for that category.

- Downtime Reason: The downtime category configured for your MachineMetrics implementation.
- Downtime Duration: The total length of time in the past week that downtime was assigned to a category by operators.
- Number of Occurrences: The number of discrete instances that downtime was assigned to a category by an operator.

The Benchmarking report summarizes the performance of the company's machines versus all machines of the same type in all companies monitored by MachineMetrics systems (those that participate in the benchmarking program).

The overall utilization benchmarks chart is a horizontal bar chart showing your overall utilization percentage and corresponding percentile ranking by machine type. The following is an example of the information layout of the overall utilization benchmarks chart:

The overall utilization benchmarks chart provides the following data:
- Your Overall Utilization...: This line presents the percentile ranking of your company for all machines in all shifts compared to the rest of the companies monitored by MachineMetrics that have the same types of machines. This number will be the same as the All Machines metric on the Machine Type Y-axis.
- Machine Type (Y-axis): The Y-axis of this chart contains a horizontal bar for each machine type in your company that is monitored by MachineMetrics. The parentheses beneath each machine type category indicate the total number of machines of that type that were benchmarked for the current report.
- Utilization (X-axis): The X-axis of this chart indicates the utilization percentage for each of the Machine Type categories for all shifts. The parentheses beneath the utilization percentage indicate the percentile ranking of the machine type compared to all machines of that type at other companies that are monitored by MachineMetrics.

The key hours utilization benchmarks chart provides the following data:
- Your Key Hours Utilization...: This line presents the utilization percentile ranking of your company for all machines during key operating hours compared to the rest of the companies monitored by MachineMetrics that have the same types of machines. Key operating hours are defined as Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. This number will be the same as the All Machines metric on the Machine Type Y-axis.
- Machine Type (Y-axis): The Y-axis of this chart contains a horizontal bar for each machine type in your company that is monitored by MachineMetrics. The parentheses beneath each machine type category indicate the total number of machines of that type that were benchmarked for the current report.
- Utilization (X-axis): The X-axis of this chart indicates the utilization percentage for each Machine Type category during key hours. The parentheses beneath the utilization percentage indicate the percentile ranking of the machine type compared to all machines of that type at other companies that are monitored by MachineMetrics.
